Keith , we are ardent fans of your radio show and have been folowing you each and every week we are able. However, please explain in laymans terms just what Capital Markets are, how they function etc. Most people I speak with have no understanding of this terminology and get a little lost in the thought process. Hoping I have made myself understood this morning. Thank you for a wonderful show.

I’m sorry for any confusion, Doris. Capital markets are simply wherever money meets opportunity. They include our banks, the stock market and the bond market.

just one question, if you have time, concerning your political opinion:
have you heard the rumor about a future north american alliance between Canada, the US, and Mexico, and a planned commom currency.
sounds like a horrible conspiracy theory to me which would mean an end to our country as it is and its’ constitution, but the White House and the media are certainly behaving with their border policies as if we’re right on track for that.

going-ons in the different countries, economical as well as political. i think if more people were interested in what’s really going on out there in the world, we would have different outcomes at elections.

First, thanks for your kind comments. Actually, there are MUCH richer folks plying the worlds’ oceans; and at best I am, as is Barry Young, only nearly-famous.
The good news is that not too many pirates read financial websites; and, the sea being as fickle as she is, there is much to be said for as many people as possible knowing where we are.
I do appreciate your concern, Bill; and in fact there will be places around the globe where we will go out of our way not to signal our plans, particularly to the local audience.
