Keith,

I thoroughly enjoyed your adventure!!! Having spent a lot of time in Asia from 2001-2003 away from my family and enjoying my own adventure, I empathize with your need to return home and be with your family. I would still be there living my adventure, but family comes first and I missed my 12 and 14 yr old daughters at the time--and since coming home I now have a 1 yr old to go with them. If I had a chance to move all of us over there and work, I would do it--and I am now seeking an opportunity to do just that. Wish me luck as I wished you luck on your trip!

I really enjoyed your musings and opinions on many topics. I will miss reading them, and hope you continue to maintain this site and keep us updated on your new adventures.

Thanks!

Larry

Absolutely, Larry! Good luck! And thanks so much for following our adventure.

Keith

Keith,
Your upbeat spirit and global view will be so missed. In a time when all the news is tainted and myopic, your reports from around the world were so refreshing. Good luck, get back into politics and God bless!

Dear Keith, I am the owner of the Ferretti 630 "Le Poüpee" which is berthed right behind your boat at Clearwater Bay Marina in Hong Kong. I love Nordhavn boats and your boat immediately caught my attention. From the name and flag of your boat, I sort of gathered that you are on a globe-trotting mission but when I went on your site I realised what an incredible adventure you are having. We took "Le Poupee" to explore Croatia and Italy for 1 month but it was nothing compared to your adventure. BTW The little girl and the toddler boy you met at the Marina Cafe are my kids. Hope they did not disturb your work that much.

Keith: I just heard your last broadcast and I want you to know as a fan I support the decision you made.

I have to tell you how much I have enjoyed your show. Most Sunday mornings, my boyfriend and I would have a leisurely Sunday morning breakfast while we listened to your show.

As you ventured out to places I never heard of, we would got out this "very heavy" world atlas and look up where you were at.

Thanks again.

Hi Keith, I am writing from HK....I went up to the Clearwater Bay Marina today and saw your boat moored at the far end....the Global Adventure with its USA flag sets itself apart and caught my immediate attention. I walked over and admired the boat, hoping to meet the crew but it seemed today being Saturday is a night on the town for everyone. Then I saw your website and found out about your voyage. I wish you and your team a safe journey home, and ....what a magnificient boat the Global Adventure is!

Keith, your adventures have been mine, listening to you on each sunday morning. I am depressed that you are leaving this "so cool" trip you have been on. But rest assured, my girlfriend, as I told her you decided to come home and stop your traveling program.....she didn't say a thing. This translated as "GREAT"....now I can talk to him on sunday morning!!! Well, I have been listening to you for at least 8 years. I have learned alot and I THANK YOU!!! I hope as time goes by, you will have some type of show on the radio that talks about the economy-micro and macro. Again, I THANK YOU for your education and very fun times listening to you on the radio. I wish you only the BEST!!!! YOU DID GREAT!!!!

Mr. DeGreen, I heard your final show on KFYI September 2, 2007. I am sorry we will not be hearing your financial planning advice in the future. I must admit that were only about 5 occasions that I disagreed with you (but that is only because I work in a law firm, concentrating in estate planning and probate administration, I'm sure), However, overall my husband and I found your comments to be very helpful. Thank you for the time you spent researching and subsequently imparting very useful information to us.

That same day, I visited Starbucks and found the following printed on my coffee cup. I wanted to share it with you. (I bet you have visited Starbucks, also, so that you are familiar with what I am saying)

"People often ask me if it is worth it to work at sea, isolated from the world, far from loved ones, seasick and runing on three hours' sleep. To lay eyes on something never before seen by anyone, to learn something new about our planet, for that one moment of discovery--yes, it is all worth it." (by) Katy Croff, oceanographer and National Geographic Emerging Explorer

I wish you a very safe trip home. Thank you again for all your hard work on our behalf.

Dear Keith, I have enjoyed your show for over 18 years and will miss waking up to it on Sunday mornings. However, I think it will be much better to wake up next to you on Sunday mornings for now on!!!! I know that you had a wonderful experience on your journey and we were with you all the way. We are looking forward to having you home with us as we missed you like crazy. See in a couple weeks.
Your loving wife, Lynn

Keith,

My wife (Judi) and I have really enjoyed your great radio show each Sunday as you sailed the Pacific on your beautiful ship, the "Global Adventure". What a great ride this has been. We are blessed to have known you (through your firm's services). We wish you and your family all the best that life can offer. Your investment radio show was one of the best in the World. Thanks for enriching our lives. God speed.

Keith, I moved to Az. about 5 years ago and landed on your radio program by accident. That was the best "accident" I've ever experienced. My Sunday routine for the past five years will now have a huge void. Your financial information was enlightening although usually above my means. Your political epertise had me wondering,"why isn't this man in the statehouse or better yet, Washington?" I was very excited when you threw your hat in the political arena and was very sorry for the reason you had to withdraw. This state and this nation needs Americans like yourself although I don't blame anyone for not opening themselves up for the relentless onslaught from the biased liberal press. Thank you for sharing yourself every Sunday and allowing me to fantasize lately of being "on board" as you explore lands I can only dream about. You've done a great service for your audience and you and your family deserve only the best in the years to come. Thank you! Rich Krull

Dear Keith

I read about your adventures in the yachting world magazine and think what you are doing is amazing.
I have an idea that may help you on your travels and give people following you a real time view of where you are in the world.
We at MarineTrack provide satellite tracking systems to the boating industry all over the world and we also have an interest in projects such as this which we are putting together for our newsletter.
My idea is that you fit one of our tracking units to your vessel so that people can "find their financial advisor" through your website on our web based interface, this may provide a more interactive experience for the people that you are trying to attract and this may also give the people that you have helped the opportunity to find the man that has dealt with their financial plans.

Please let me know your thoughts on my idea.
Hope to here from you soon.

Darryn Harrison

Darryn,

Great idea. I wish we had visited six months ago. Within a few weeks, however, people will be able to "find the financial advisor" at home. Please see my August 26 dispatch.

Greetings Keith,

I heard your show this Sunday and you said you were cutting back an hour. I can appreciate your decision; although, I always catch the three hours. I guess two hours is better than nothing.

I am becoming more active in researching trade contacts throughout the world, and your show has been an important learning tool in my goals. I just thought you should know that.

My question, when dealing with China, and importing from there most of the firms want TT type payments. Since I am over-hyper-sensitive to potential fraud; what advice would you suggest to make sure this will not happen?

Thanks again, and keep on doing what you do best.

Best Regards,
